Michelle Emond is Fulbright Canada's Program Officer responsible for Students and Student Programs. Michelle is the primary program officer overseeing delivery and support for the Foundation's flagship Fulbright Student Program, and the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistants Program, and the Foundation's pathbreaking undergraduate exchange program, the Killam Fellowships Program. She works closely with the other Foundation staff on all matters relating to delivery, program development, and assisting students in reaching their leadership potential. Moreover, Michelle communicates closely with partner institutions to facilitate the administration of these programs.
Michelle is a long-time resident of Ottawa. She studied languages and translation at the University of Ottawa, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree. Michelle has some twenty years of administrative experience, and has been with Fulbright Canada for over fifteen years.
Michelle is best known to all of our students for her caring and nurturing nature, her commitment and dedication to provide excellent support to them, and for her advocacy on their behalf.
