Applications for the Eco-Leadership Program are currently being accepted until Jan. 30, 2018. *Deadline has been extended.
The Fulbright Canada Eco-Leadership Program (ELP) provides grants ($2000 - $4000) to both Fulbright Canada alumni and current grant recipients who seek to engage in environmental action in their host or home community in a way that promotes volunteerism and community engagement.
Applicants must be recipients of a Fulbright award through the Canada-U.S. Fulbright Program. Current grantees are encouraged to submit a proposal for projects in their host community. Alumni can submit a proposal for projects in Canada or the United States.
All proposals are evaluated by a committee composed of the Fulbright Canada CEO, two program officers, and one Fulbright alumnus with experience in environmental studies. Please note that applications requesting funding for salaries, stipends, or any other form of compensation will be deemed ineligible.
